[Project Pianoi - Track 1]

Suggestions, eh?

First of all, the piano sounds really not realistic. Each note seems to have the same velocity as the another. You should try to alter them (but randomizing might not be enough, try to change the velocities knowingly so that you'll achieve the wanted effect). Also it's a bit too stiff for a piano performance. Getting some new vsti or soundfonts might be a good idea. Another thing, the song is piano-driven and yet it doesn't seem to go anywhere (although the ending is a nice change of mood) try to convey some emotions to your songs (especially if they are based on one instrument - they won't get boring). The percussion was creative, I liked it and there were some nice chord progressions and themes. Keep up the good work. 4/4 & 7/10

I feel the same way about the piano. All I have now is EDIROL Orchestra. But I have been lookinf around for some nice pianos. I will try what you suggested.

It truly is...

wonderful! I can really imagine reading all those stories in the old journal. Maybe it's just me but the piano is a little bit too 'hard' (I'd suggest getting some new vst's). Great 'journey', thanks.

Very good

The melody is great but lacks variety a bit. You don't have too change it, you can simply let the other instruments play it because the addition of the choir & strings isn't enough. You can also experiment with hum how to call it? 'Powah of teh song'. I mean one part can be played gently let say on piano and the other with powerful orchestral hits and brass sounds etc. You know what I mean. Nevertheless it has a lot of potential and your other songs are great that's why I'm giving you 5/5 & 10/10

It clearly is not finished but I like it. It's very uplifting. Have you finished it? I really enjoy listening to your music. It seems to me that your music comes from the depth of the heart which is why it's so appealing. 5/5 & 10/10
